Verity Lake ahead...

When I caught up to Tariun on Route 201 again, he already had another crazy scheme in mind. He wanted to catch the legendary Pokémon of Lake Verity for Professor Rowan. I honestly don’t know what goes through his mind sometimes. Even if we did run into a legendary Pokémon at the lake, there is no way either of us would be able to catch it. Rival or not, he is still my friend, so I decided to tag along to make sure he did not get in too much trouble.

We arrived at Lake Verity only to find that we had been beaten there by a guy with spiky blue hair. He was mumbling something about the legendary Pokémon sleeping at the bottom of the lake. I think he said his name was Cyrus. Before we knew what was going on, he shoved right by us. What a jerk!

It was then that we heard a strange Pokémon cry. It had to be the legendary Pokémon. We also remembered we were missing one key element to capturing it. We had no Pokéballs. Even if we tried the battle the legendary Pokémon, and we somehow managed to defeat it, we had nothing to capture it with.

Tariun suggested we head over to Sandgem again to visit Professor Rowan to ask him for some Pokéballs. I am sure he would want to thank him as well. That is if he can remember to do that when he gets there.
